Bullying, Harassment & Discrimination

"Individual conflict – both inside the workplace and through to tribunal claims – costs UK organisations £28.5 billion a year. It also tells us clearly that resolving matters early in the workplace is the least costly outcome of all."  ACAS, 2023

  • Following BH&D training there is an increased productivity an engagement; Awareness training helps prevent harmful behaviours, leading to a more productive workforce. This is shown with 60% of employees who reported being bullied stated that their productivity was affected.

  • The cost of bullying in the workplace can reach up to £80,000 per year, per victim. With the victims resignation rate at 23%.

The cost of bullying a harassment in the workplace is considerable, this is the cost to the employee’s mental health, to workplace efficiency and financially. We designed and delivered sessions incorporating drama based training with carefully constructed characters, focusing on inclusive behaviours, respect, and value in the workplace, but also reflecting on the diversity in the team.

Following the training sessions, a feedback and evaluation report is compiled to ensure the actions highlighted are embedded and the learning is sustained. The report is reflective of the lived experience and perspective of the participants and includes:

Issues, actions and concerns arising

Reoccurring themes

Consultative results and areas to be addressed

Voting results

Recommendations and actions

Participant feedback

Our reports are anonymous and compiled around individual, team, manager and organisation actions

"The training we received was first class.  It was pitched perfectly for the audience and from the start everyone was put at ease which allowed the discussion/break out rooms to flow. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the session and gained a lot from it"

WO1 (SMI)

"Garnett Interactive turn traditional learning approaches on their head: rather than starting with the theory and trying to apply it, participants are plunged head-first into a real-life situation and need to think their way around it. This was key to delivering the culture change we are aiming for."
