  • Twenty Years Hard Labour - by Amanda Osborne

Twenty Years Hard LabourWith the Equality Act becoming law in October, this play provides an excellent landscape against which to position the key issues from the Bill. This face moving, witty, intelligent play puts Equality in Employment on trial, examining roots of legislation and its practical implications and progress. Equality in Employment stands accused of 'disappointing those who have believed in you, those who have fought for you and all those you needed to serve'. The verdict is in the hands of the audience and creates a inspiring forum for debate and discussion as well as delivering some useful insights for professionals in the field of Diversity and Equality, and implications of the new Bill.

I think the play is fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is extremely powerful.
