Bringing Teams Together: improving the way we work (1-day training course)
Having several teams within one department can be a strength; specialised areas form an important part in overall delivery. However, this can be divisive when teams lose sight of shared values or are unaware of what other teams/individuals do.
This one day course addresses team-building, effective communication, dealing with conflict, feeling valued and included, running effective team meetings, linking policy to practice.
Through a combination of theatrical exercises using trained actors and a facilitator along with team exercises and group observations, delegates re-energise their roles within their teams and within the department (and organisation) as a whole. The aim of the workshop is to create a more joined-up approach and therefore improve service delivery.
