Working with the Voluntary Sector

Increasing pressure on the voluntary and community sector created by recent government reforms, together with a squeeze on fundraising revenue has brought the sector both opportunities and challenges. How do they stay true to their values and retain their independence whilst struggling to survive and adapt to an increasingly contract culture.

Progressive charities strive to maintain their values of quality practices, independent voice and innovation which have characterised the voluntary sector at its best. Inspiration leadership, supportive well informed trustees, motivated employees are all vital ingredients to an organisation that meets the needs of its beneficiaries and society at large.

From major volunteer conferences to staff training we have delivered programmes around inclusion, leadership, change and communication to a number of charities.

We can support you in the following areas:

  • Recruitment and retention of staff
  • Team building
  • Communication and developing a common purpose
  • Valuing diversity in colleagues and the community
  • Customer service excellence
  • Valuing and behaviours
  • Change
